Gerhard Reese
VUW Associate Professor of Climate Change
Gerhard Reese completed his PhD in 2010 and after various national and international positions he was appointed Professor of Environmental Psychology at the RPTU University Kaiserslautern-Landau in 2016. Since May 2025, he is Associate Professor in Climate Change at Te Herenga Waka – Victoria University Wellington. His research deals with the emotional and behavioural responses to environmental change and the effects of nature on mental health.
