Deborah Russell is a Labour list MP based in West Auckland. She is the party’s spokesperson for Climate Change and for Revenue. She has been Minister of Statistics, Minister for the Natural Hazards Commission, Associate Minister of Justice and Associate Minister of Revenue. Before becoming an MP Deborah lectured at Massey University in Taxation. Her PhD is in political theory.
