Joseph Hagg is a Principal Advisor in the Adaptation Priorities team at the Ministry for Cities, Environment, Regions and Transport. He works on climate adaptation policy and natural hazard risk management, including the development of New Zealand's second National Adaptation Plan and the New Zealand Flood Map. Prior to joining the Ministry, Joseph held climate adaptation and environmental policy roles at Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency, MPI and MBIE, and spent more than a decade working on climate change adaptation in Scotland.
