Nick Cradock-Henry

Principal Scientist, Society & Infrastructure | Earth Sciences New Zealand

Nick has a multi-disciplinary background in social-ecological systems, disaster risk and resilience, and climate change, built over more than a decade of research with Manaaki Whenua - Landcare Research and GNS Science. His research addresses complex natural resource management problems, focussing on bridging the gap between biophysical and social sciences, with a focus on applied solutions and actionable information. He currently leads the “Accelerating Adaptation to Climate Change” programme, as well as research in the Natural Hazards and Resilience Platform. He is a Lead Author for the PCC Seventh Assessment (AR7) Working Group II.
