Sarah Pahlen

Christchurch City Council

With a background in environmental science and geography, Sarah has been working in the Christchurch City Council’s Climate Hazard Adaptation Planning team for the past six years. Sarah helped establish the policy framework which sets out how the Council works with communities to undertake adaptation planning, was part of the team who completed the first tranche of planning and is now looking at how this can be scaled up for more densely developed parts of their district.
